Pidgin = Facebook Chat
Just realised that I can use Pidgin for Facebook Chat…
- Firstly, download Pidgin: http://pidgin.im/
- Add a new XMPP account.
- Your username is your profile username at Facebook (you may need to set one).
- Domain is chat.facebook.com
- Password is your Facebook password
- Ensure that you “Require encryption” in the Advanced tab.
- Done.
